Apex, NC – 28 September 2009 – The Peak City Film Festival – Family Style has announced a strategic alliance for festival sales growth and opportunity with VTR Consulting LLC, located in Apex, NC. VTR Consulting LLC provides retail sales training and recruiting for businesses and it will be now be the sole conduit for Peak City Film Festival sales, marketing and sponsorship support and growth.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is a partnering that will make the Peak City Film Festival an integral part of the community by seeking the support of local businesses and individual sponsors on a friendly and personal basis,&#8221; said John M. Demers, Executive Producer of the event. &#8220;All the organization has come together and we are very excited to have the sales expertise VTR provides on board to help us grow Festival visibility. Jim Vogel&#8217;s company brings enthusiasm and professionalism to community partnerships.&#8221;</p>
<p>Sponsorship opportunities are open to everyone wishing to support the event and the local community. Everyone involved in these sponsorship opportunities will receive proper and appropriate credit for their generosity and be the recipients of very active and positive grass roots advertising.</p>

<a href="http://www.apexnc.org/public_notice/councilMayor.cfm">Mayor Keith H. Weatherly</a> held a press conference yesterday, June 4th, 2009 and announced a huge mixed development project called Veridea, that will add nearly $6 billion to the Town&#8217;s tax base.</p>
<p>According to <a href="http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/5284379/">the story at WRAL,</a> “Veridea will become the next generation of Research Triangle Park,” that would create 30,000 jobs, and 8,000 residential units – a mix of condos and single-family homes</p>

Salem Street in Apex</a>. It&#8217;s for sale.</span></span></p>
<p><span class="status-body"><span class="entry-content">Although the property is far from the most beautiful space downtown, I think it has a great location. I&#8217;m not who will finally end up in the space, but I hope it&#8217;s someone that will spend a little bit to spruce it up.</span></span></p>
<p><span class="status-body"><span class="entry-content">It got me thinking about what type of business would you like to see go in there? Since the space is only listed at 5,500 square feet, it can&#8217;t support anything too big, but there&#8217;s plenty of room for someone to start a business that can become vital to the downtown community.</span></span></p>
