Peak City Grill
I can sum it up this way; pricey, but worth it.
A group of 6 of us went in about 6pm on a Friday night, it was just starting to fill up. We were shown to the large circular table that looks out the front window.
The waitress came over and was a bit hard to hear over the piano player, who was only about 10 feet away. She suggested their specialty appetizer Peak City “Bleu” Chips (Homemade potato chips, crumbled bleu cheese, sweet red pepper jelly & Gorgonzola sauce). I now know why they are the specialty, they were awesome! I only wish they brought more.
Between us, we ordered salads, steaks and chicken followed up by coffee. All of the food was excellent, we were all very pleased.
One slight downside was the length of the meal, which was about 2 hours. The other was that our table was so close to the piano player that it was hard to carry on a normal conversation and hear our waitress.
The bill for 6 adults with drinks and desert was just over $300. Figuring about $50/person for a great meal seems about right to me.
The Peak City Grill is the place to go in Apex when you want real good food and want to support a real local business.

Good food, bit on the pricey side, but worth it. Great atmosphere.
And the best part, it’s only steps away from my office (great for a quick lunch)
