A number of changes were discussed to the multi year student assignment proposal during work sessions held by the Board of Education on Jan. 22 and Jan. 23. More work sessions have been scheduled as the board continues to review the proposal and a public hearing has been set for families affected by the changes made in the work sessions. Let everyone know how you are affected by these changes.

My family and I moved to Apex from New Jersey, we did a lot of research on Apex before making the move. I would have to say it is a beautiful city and the quality of life is much better here and the people are just great. I do miss some of the foods from up north.
I have to say that I am not happy with the student re-assignment situation, I pay taxes in Apex and my children should be able to enjoy the schools in Apex.

My daughter has attended OCE since Kindergarten (’08) and we both really like the school. She is learning at a good pace, has plenty of extra curricular activies, and the year-round schedule doesn’t bother us at all. The school is well looked after and has a professional staff who are dedicated to having the children succeed!! I feel very lucky to live in Apex and have my daughter attend such a good school!
