I have been reading about Mamma Mia’s for quite some time now and finally decided to try it out tonight. I now found a great restaurant for Italian food. For appetizers, we tried the fried calamari and cold antipasto, then my husband enjoyed the chicken sorrentina and I had the veal piccata—my honest opinion, it was too much food and we did not get to try dessert. We will be looking forward to going back next Friday evening for another wonderful meal. I also must add, the workers there were absolutely great and treated us like they knew us for years.

Mamma Mia is absolutely fabulous. We have enjoyed many meals with them, over the years. The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is fabulous, and the food is out of this world. Four people will be very fortunate to go on a trip of a lifetime with the owners. They are a hoot and bring a special energy to the restaurant every day. I suggest whoever is lucky enough to win the contest, bring a journal, and publish the stories upon your return. It would be a best seller!!! Enjoy

Once again, Mamma Mia’s was on the money, the Mozzarella Alla Caprese for appetizer, the Contadina salad, then Veal Shank for dinner. Next time I go, I need to pace myself better, I never have room for dessert.

I came in to order takeout one night on my birthday and they gave me a yummy strawberry cake and even sang Happy Birthday to me!

I love Mamma Mia’s service and food are both wonderful. Everyone is so pleasant and the food is so good. We order alot of take out gosh do we get alot of food with any order. It is a must for Apex residents

Had an excellent experience over the weekend at Mamma Mia – we were not sure on what to order, so they said trust them and they made the decision for us. My wife an I both agreed to do that from now on, because both dishes were excellent and probably nothing we would have tried without their guidance. The veal could barely stay on the bone and the stuffed mushrooms in red sauce were to die for!

There is nothing on the menu that isn’t good!!! We LOVE going to Mamma Mia’s. Not only is the food outstanding but the people who work there are fabulously friendly and make you feel so at home. My very favorite thing (besides the pizza and pasta and, etc…
is the tirimasu. You must save room and try some!!! It’s the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to Italy)!

I have been coming to Mamma Mias for the past years and love it! The cannolis are amazing, and even better as breakfast – but don’t tell Mama! The pasta vodka is my favorite along with their outstanding meatballs. I love the family atmosphere and the staff is always a hoot. Italy is on my list of must see places in my lifetime – think Mamma would go with – I trust her judgement on Italian food!

Best Italian food in the Apex, Cary, Raleigh area..equivalent to Little Italy in NYC….the ambiance is relaxed and the service is excellent!. Slyvania and Ciro are very involved with their customers and kitchen staff. They stand behind EVERY dish that is served..you will not go wrong dining at Mamma Mia’s!

We have never been here before tonight and gave it a try. WOW! Their veal piccata is excellent and superbly authentic, the best I’ve had in a number of years. My wife had a calzone, which was huge and delicious. For dessert we enjoyed the pumpkin cheesecake while la famiglia entertained us as one of their own. An excellent, authentic restaurant. I have no idea why this place isn’t packed every night.
