Win a $25 Gift Certificate to Booda Beans
The women that run Booda Beans Coffee Shop want to hear from you.
Sarah and Jennifer bought the business last year and would like to re-introduce it to the people in Apex. We’ve talked them into a give-away that gives people a shot at winning a gift certificate to Booda Beans.
So here’s how it’s going to work.
- Go to Booda Beans
- Buy something
- Come back and tell us what you thought by leaving a comment under this post.
- Complete the survey
The only catch is that you must leave a comment below and fill out the survey.
On Friday afternoons, we’ll pick one person at random and email them letting them know they’ve won.
How much is the gift certificate worth? It depends on how many comments we get.
- 5 or less comments – $5 gift certificate
- 6 – 24 comments – $10 gift certificate
- 25+ comments – $25 gift certificate
In case you haven’t caught on yet, we want you to grab a couple of friends and go buy some coffee and snacks at Booda Beans. Let them know what you honestly think of how they’re doing. They want to be THE place in Apex for you to go and have a cup of coffee, here’s your chance to tell them how they can accomplish that goal.
Click here to go take the Booda Beans survey.

It’s a great place to chill out while the kids are in the play area, but a little on the pricey side.
April 9th, 2009 at 10:09 pmI think I paid over $2.00 for a fountain soda, and approximately $2.50 for a tea the last time I was there.
And the fountain is cute…but seems like a bit of wasted space. Would be better if they had some comfy couches or armchairs…it would entice me to hang out longer (and pay the exorbitant drink prices).

Booda’s proximity to STMM is ideal for after church coffee and newspaper!

I love the little snack cups with cheese, crackers, and pepperoni. The last time I bought one the crackers were a little soggy though so they shouldn’t make them too far in advance. Also the bathroom can get a little smelly (b/c of dirty diapers) so offering disposable diaper bags to put the stinky ones in could help with that. Otherwise, I think Booda Beans is a great place for playgroups to meet up.

I went to Booda Beans for the 1st time to attend my 1st meeting with a new mother’s group. The lady at the counter was very friendly when I explained myself, putting me at ease immediately ( had no idea who I was meeting-all I had were their names). I had a delicious latte at about the same price that I would expect to pay at Starbucks. However, unlike Starbucks, the atmosphere was kid friendly and mom friendly. I was very impressed and ended up having a great time at my group meeting.

I really liked the atmosphere of Booda Beans. It’s great to have the kids “contained” while I chat with friends. I haven’t eaten or drank anything spectacular there, just average. But I’m not a coffee drinker, so perhaps there are some specialties I’m unaware of. I am a big tea drinker though, and unfortunately the last time I went, they were out of iced tea. These things happen though. All in all, I’ll definitely continue to go as it’s a great place to hang out with friends and the kiddos.

I think Booda Beans is one of the best coffee houses in Apex. I like the fact that they offer a safe environment for my daughter to play while I can catch up with friends. I see some posts that seem to be price conscious, but in reality, I dont think the prices are any different than Starbucks, Panera Bread, Dunkin Donuts, etc. If anything, a smaller operation appreciates its customers much more than the large corporate ones. I would go to Booda Beans over a Starbucks any day.

I have visited Booda Beans four times. I live right down the street, so the location is perfect.
April 14th, 2009 at 10:55 pmI ordered the same drink all four times I went in the coffee shop and was charged three different prices. Needless to say, they were all too much. I was charged nearly double what I would pay in one of the other coffee shops and my drink was made with over expressed, bitter espresso.
I was very disappointed in all of my experiences and am not in a hurry to go back.
I will say that I think it is under new ownership since I have visited, so maybe things have turned around.

My children and I love to walk/ride the greenway just down the street from Booda Beans. After our last venture on the greenway I treated my kids to smoothies at BB. They loved it! For once, I did too. I was able to let my toddler and preschooler go to town in the play area and actually enjoy the conversation of my older kids w/o worrying what destruction was happening. We had coupons from the Citipass book so I didn’t mind the prices, but I do agree w/the other posts that it is a bit pricey and there isn’t a very big menu selection. All in all it was a great way to top off some good family time, and my kids keep asking me when we’re going there again.

Booda Beans is a great place to meet with friends while the kids play in the kids area. Booda is often not crowded, which is surprising because it is nice. The prices are within the ‘norm’ of prices but the service is friendly and customized.
I go to Booda Beans regularly and will continue to do so!

I go to Booda Beans on a regular basis. Being a stay-at-home mom and the owner of a home based business I need a place like Booda Beans. I can have business meetings while the kids play.
Plus they always make me great coffee combinations!
