Best Pizza In Apex
I will admit that I have a type of pizza I like. That’s the thing about pizza, not everyone can agree on “the best”.
For me, what I look for is fresh. Fresh cheese, fresh toppings and fresh dough.
The reason I thing Mamma Mia Pizza Pasta is the best pizza in Apex is the freshness. I love that I can get a pepperoni pizza and there’s not a puddle of oil on it when I get it home.
The second reason I love Mamma Mia Pizza is the family that runs it. They make you feel like you are actually appreciated, in fact after just a few visits, they would welcome me by name when I would show up.
The restaurant part is a bit strip-mallish, but then again, they are in a strip mall. If you can get beyond that, just ask what they suggest and they will bring you fresh homemade plates of food.

I always give credit where credit is due, I had tried a few Pizzeria’s in Apex and had decided that my best bet was to buy a frozen one from the supermarket. I read the post on Apex Specials regarding the “Best Pizza in Apex”, I had never heard of Mamma Mia Pizza Pasta, so I figured I would give it a shot with my wife for Valentines Day. Was I impressed– Their Pizza was absolutely delicious, made fresh with fresh ingredients and the people that run it, they welcome you as you are a part of the family, very warm and friendly. I am glad I found this great restaurant in Apex and I do have to agree, they do have the Best Pizza In Apex. I look forward to going back and also trying the other Italian Specialties on the menu, particularly, the Veal Shank.

Hello,
March 13th, 2009 at 3:17 pmAfter reading the post on Apex Specials, I decided to try Mamma Mia’s pizza for myself. My husband and I went on Wednesday evening and were greeted very warmly, as if we had been there before and they knew us for a long time, we had an antipasti for an appetizer and then a large peperoni pizza, I have to agree, it is the best pizza in Apex. I am happy that we tried this restaurant and we will be visiting it often.

My family has been enjoying Mamma Mia’s for many years now. Sylvana and Cheeto are the greatest. Chef’s pork Osso Bucco is stellar. We’re bringing my family of 22 in on May 2nd at 5pm so if you come that night you have to be prepared for a loud familiy dinner.

I picked up dinner today at Mamma Mia and the owner was very excited about a new promotion they are going to run, they are going to give away a trip to Italy to 2 couples at the end of the year—which is very exciting to me, I would love to win! He explained that to enter in the drawing, you will have to purchase a $100 gift certificate from them, I said fine, my husband and I spend more in there in a month, so I guess we will have a couple of chances. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Great fresh taste. I miss the NY fresh garlic pizza. They make it. Yet I request double the garlic for that wonderful garlic aroma and flavor. If you miss a garlic pie, you may want to think about twice the garlic!

We went to Mama Mia’s for the first time tonight and it was the best pizza I have had in such a long time. Our friends ,who live in the area, told us that it was the best in town, and they were right. The owners were great. They brought out their traditional pizza, and it was absolutely fabulous. I can’t wait to come out here and visit again just so we can go there and eat great pizza, drink good beer, and hopefully visit longer with the owners. They are truly one of a kind.
